Preparatory Course for Govt. School Entrance
Course Objectives
In accordance with the syllabus set by the Ministry of Education Singapore, this full-time course is specially designed for foreign students between the ages of 6 to 18 years who intends to pursue their studies in local government schools.
Result-oriented teaching is hence employed
for the course as it aims to prepare
students for the English and Mathematics
entrance examinations for entry into local
government schools.
Course Outline
A wide range from the Primary One level to
the Secondary Three level is available.

The teacher will conduct a test during the first lesson to determine the standard of the students.

Based on the results of the test, as well as the student’s age, the teacher will gauge the appropriate level of study of the student in local government schools.

From there, the teacher will devise a teaching regime that caters to individual needs of the student to prepare the student for his/her study in the government schools.

Upon completion of the course, the student will have to sit for a test conducted by the Ministry of Education before entry into the government schools.
