ITE SKILLS CERTIFICATE (CLO) IN LOGISTICS OPERATIONS  

 

Introduction

This course provides students with the skills and knowledge to use the computer for warehousing and logistics operations and to carry out various activities in the warehouse, such as receiving, storing, order picking, packing, labeling, issuing and dispatch of goods.  It also provides students with the knowledge on the types of documentation required for logistics operations as well as the skills to operate materials-handling equipment.

 

Entry Requirements

Course participants taking this course on a part-time basis must be 18 years and above and have completed their GCE ‘N’ level or equivalent

The work an Operative Logistics worker performs includes the following functions :

·        Picking / Issuing goods

·        Distributing goods

·        Performing inventory control

·        Preparing documentations and reports

·        Arranging store

·        Maintaining security and safety

 

 

Full Certification

To qualify for full certification, course participants must attain 30 credit units from the core modules.
